Getting caught up with Pictures!

So I have realized that I don't think I am cut out to be a blogger. I have been getting into facebook and find it a lot more user friendly for the type of quick tell ya how I'm doing and find out real quick what you're up to type of stuff. I can leave my computer on and just check it out at my leisure when the kids are being good. So I don't know how good I'm going to stay at posting on here but I figured I'd give it another shot and try to catch up. But if you're on facebook look me up on there in case I give this whole blogging thing up so we can still keep up on each other.

Emmie's new haircut. I didn't take a before picture but we cut over 6 inches off!!! I was actually going to have them cut it shorter and stack it in the back but I chickened out.

California

The end of June I packed the girls in the car and we headed to Laguna Beach for a week with some of my family while Darren had to stay home and work. The girls had a TON of fun with their cousins and hanging out at the beach. The drive was rather long but on the way there I caravaned with my brother and his family and we had walkie talkies that helped to pass the time a little better. But let me tell you, playing "I spy" in the middle of the desert makes for a pretty lame game... I spy something brown.... the dirt? yep. I spy something that should be green but is brown... the bush? yep. On the way home I drove through the night by myself while the girls slept and although the drive took hours less with not having to stop it was painfully quiet and boring. I didn't take very many pictures while we were there since I kept busy running after all the girls but here are a few shots that I did get.
